NIGHT SEARCHER
do you know does the 2.7 petrol vitara have cambelt or cam chain?? colin Chain and they are prone to stretching and going very noisy. And very expensive. The new chain and tensioner kit is £500 and £300 - £400 in labour having it fitted.
neil82
switch is easy enough to access, just disconnect when in the fields, may put the mil lamp on, should go out after reconnecting and switching engine off and restarting, one more job on your list should be a good wax-oil job, give it a good coating on the floor pan under the rear seats and also do the same area on the inside, just put up with the smell for a while, this seems to be the most prone rust point and it fails a test beeing too close to the rear seat belt mounts
bazzab
do you know does the 2.7 petrol vitara have cambelt or cam chain?? colin They don't need changing at same intervals as cam belts bud. They last ages. Old smithy will look after that.

Guess it'll have to be a bit of duct tape over the lights every night i go lamping Just run a switch from the wire on the break pedal.
