neil3728
Don't know, i have been thinking about this myself as i'm not to far away from the humber. I have been trying to find out how far up the humber you could shoot, is it possible to shoot on the ouse. Although as i have no experiance i wasn't sure how they would take someone like myself trying to join. contrysports
some good shooting to be had there but this season has been very poor on the marsh with all this water and mild weather. clubs on the humber are humber widfowlers and i think one of the lincolnshire wildfowling clubs are on it are on it somewhere. babka3487
Lots of clubs have shooting on the Humber and also on some of the tributary rivers - let me know where you are based and I'll PM you the relevant details as far as I know them! I'm in a couple of Humber clubs and shoot both North and South banks

shakin stevens
A good few years back i shot the Humber around Whitton and Winteringham that was on the south bank, i was thinking of joining a club again around that way but i read that you can only have 4 visits to each place in one season think it was brought in by natural england, is this true does anybody know the full picture? scolopax
They were granted consents for xxx number of flights by NE, divided with the number of permits issued to 'fowlers, worked out at just 4 flights per permit per season. Your season could be over on the opening weekend! This applies to the south bank of the upper Humber only.
shakin stevens
So will this change if fowlers dropped out of clubs because of the numbers of flights? then boosted the number of flights for the fowlers what are left in clubs next year?
