harrycatcat1
To cut a long story short I had promised myself that I was off to Kirton marsh this morning. I had loaded the car up Friday night and was ready to go. I had not been for a while due to man flu before Christmas and Sciatica flaring up over the holidays. During Friday evening my sciatica got worse and could not get to sleep tossing and turning could not get comfortable. Considering that at times I cant move with it I thought it irresponsible to drive two hours and get stuck in a creek on my own so I did not go. In the morning I was unloading the car and was just off in the car to fetch a paper and the car would not start "CLICK" when I turned the key, that's all I wanted. It has been playing up lately that's why I carry a spare battery and jump leads. Its nearly as bad as Matts LR. Just recently if it wasnt for bad luck I would not have any luck at all. I even was looking forward to using some cartridges that Dale had loaded for me. What keeps you away from the marsh?
Big Mat
I always carry a jump start pack for days like that! Well this morning what kept me away from the marsh was having to take the gun in to get it fixed! Usually something car related that keeps me away from the marsh If you listen to Graham he'll be telling everyone its women stopping me from coming shooting

Gooseman1982
Nothing keeps me away, something seriously wrong needs to be happening before I miss t marsh:-) Nothing better than lying on the mud hearing the geese cackling and duck flying about fairly kick starts the heart.
