al4x
using the archer tonight Al4x? Nope it was the old fashioned drive round with a lamp, very good night for it saw 3 shot one, one didn't want to know and the other was well off our ground. Still beats sitting at home worrying about if your groups are half or quarter inch

I have never lamped in theses conditions, I do like the practical approach as only so much can be learned in theory and or imagination as the case is more often than not on pw. Unfortunately our new baby has me firmly under house arrest for the foreseeable future anyway.
DaveK
Is it much different in the snow? I have never lamped in theses conditions, You can often see well enough without a lamp in the snow. if I wasn't at work I'd be out now. lovely foxing night. al4x
Yep no lamp needed at times. We still used one to spot but its not necessary to shoot them most of the time
