SSS
Looks pretty genuine to me. What does the number say underneath the hands in the middle bottom of the face? BR **-**

Goodlittlebitch
Try taking it to a watch/jeweler shop, just go in ask what it's worth. Don't ask them if its real or not. They might say £2 they might say £2k

Poacher
fakey wakey, look at the knurling on the winder, there are supposed to be screws in the back not hexagonal drawings, similarly it should all be engraved not painted on. FalconFN
How did it end up in your draw? I'm sure you'd have remembered buying a 3k watch, I know I would. Edit: Sorry I misread the post, I thought you found it in your draw. Edited January 28, 2013 by FalconFN
Mungler
Indeed, it's how you come by these that is a good clue. If you bought it for 10 euros off a black fella standing on the main strip in Playa and who said "looky looky" a lot then I'd wager it's not a real one. As per the above, 95% sure it's a fake but take it to a decent jeweller and ask them to change the battery, whilst saying 'I know it's a fake but I keep it for sentimental reasons'. If he comes out and offers you money to take it off your hands then it could be real

Mungler
Saying all that, if you look at the shabby lettering on the back I'm 99% certain it's fake.

86inch
I'm saying dead fakey too. It says Quartz on the dial, but "automatic movement" on the back. No quartz B&R watch would be worth £3k.
viking
New shotgun on the horizon. it will have to be a fake one well that was fun whilst it lasted, seems its probably a fake, if it was real i would of had to of handed it in to the police to see if it was claimed. if its fake i wont bother anyone want to buy a fake B&R watch

four-wheel-drive
The next time you are in town take it in to a good shop that sells expensive watches and ask if it should be a good one there may be a reward for finding it although quite why someone would want it is beyond me it looks like a pease of poo to me if it was gold maybe but black no way.
