955i
Just seen on AOL that a man has been killed by a sign falling from a betting shop. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/investigation-launched-after-man-is-killed-by-metal-sign-that-fell-from-betting-shop-in-camden-8470637.html What are the odds on that? ack-ack
That's the sort of thing that would happen to me, especially if I were exiting the establishment with a pocket full of winnings.
Tug
Bloke just spent all his wages in William Hill. He walked out despondent, closed his eyes, clasped his hands together and said "Jesus, send me a sign that you want me to stop gambling". four-wheel-drive
when I first saw this I thought that it was a little sign but that is one hell of a big thing to land on your noggin what is the betting the horse that he bet on will win poor chap. Just had another look the young chap was just walking past the shop got me thinking I wonder if this is unusual for shop signs to fall off I have not herd of it happening before. philscreens
I am surprised that it doesnt happen more often given the amount of people wanting to save money by cutting corners. These illuminated sign boxes can weigh a couple of hundred weight Bloke next door to us asked us to put right his sign (18 panels 8 x 4 aluminium ) all screwed to the brickwork with 1/2" screws!! The two clowns were working off 2 ladders no cones no barriers and people walking past.
