dolman
Hi All, I am looking for a Second Hand 12 Bore O/U for around £450-£550. I would mainly be doing clays with it but might use it instead of my semi-auto for pigeon etc. Any idea on what would be a good buy? Cheers SD
Mr Rizzini
I have a bettonsoli diamond, 30 inch barrels, multi choke and comes with a lovely hard case so perhaps you could have a look at those as I have had mine for about a year and completely love it. Alycidon
Miroku, Nikko. Winchester. All these guns are of higher quality than other mentioned IMHO. A
Mr Rizzini
I can only base bettinsoli quality on what I have experience which is having put 1000's of cartridges through my gun at pigeons and its never failed me in any way so therfore I would say so far their quality is faultless, This is just my experience and shouldn't be took as all guns are going to be the same as with any make. Goodluck with whatever you end up with as I my father owns a £60 Thomas Wilde sxs and its has proved faultless.

njc110381
Don't overlook the Lanber. That's another cheaper make that's been going for ages and build guns of reasonable quality. A used Beretta, Browning, Miroku or whatever is also a good buy as long as it's not showing too many signs of having a lot of cartridges through it. This is the best answer so far and they do come up around the £500 mark, the plus point is they won't loose value from there unless you seriously abuse them. MattSoanes
Check out the for sale section, there's a nice MK38 on there, the price is ono, you might be surprised at what you can have it for
the hide shooter
any decent mk38 will be way over ur price range (but i could be rong) my honest oppinion! lanber is probs best gun in your price range unless you fancy a semi you will pick a decent berreta/browning semi for 500 notes! the hide shooter
but if you fancy an older gun of better quality than some on the market today, nikko are realy good guns based on winchester 101 actions (probably the best handling gun ever made) you will pick a nice example for 550! or go for a winchester although for a decent one your probs looking at a wee bit more again!
