gunner269
I have a rule about Mushroom picking ... DON'T !! Unless you have someone with you who KNOWS what each one is you can end up in real trouble. Amanita the most toxic British fungi closely resembles Caesars mushroom which is edible You will only get it wrong once.
huffhuff
http://www.woodland-ways.co.uk/ Great guys. Indeed, these guys do great wild food/foraging days. Not always funghi specific (depends if you come across anything on your walk). You will not be disappointed. An amazing amount of knowledge and experience with these guys... Even with the colour pictures of the different types ,it was still easy to mistake an edible one from a poisonous one. There are even poisonous one's that look very similar to the common field mushrooms, so as gunner269 says DONT, unless your with an expert.
