fabarm gamma boy
iv recently aqquired a fabarm gamma and O/U and after owning a number of makes including berettas i must say im absolutely chuffed with the quality of it! the walnut on it is very very well figured with dark swirling grain, somthing you would expect to find on a oretty exspensive gun! its second hand, my shooting buddy owned it previously so i know its had alot of use! but inspite of that its still like brand new i serviced it today and all the parts show vurtualy no sign of wear! not much info available about these guns! so fabarm owners what are your thoughts and experiences with fabarm?? Fuji Shooter
I must have owned about 6 Fabarms and have to say the build quality is superb some of the ones from a few years ago with the inked graining are fantastic. The new stuff although great quality is a little overpriced and resale value seems to be pants for some reason. I've owned the following Axis sporting STL XLR 5 (2 of) Competition Carbon (2 of) XLR Velocity Interested in buying a C2 but at the price I think I'll buy Caesar Guerinni Impact as it comes with a 10 year warranty vs 12 months. fabarm gamma boy
my gun shot very well, it was pretty quiet but managed to bag 8 out of the 10 birds i shot at! then moved to another farm and shot 18 on a barley feild that had not been cut! when i got there the must of been 500 pigeon on the feild, i cleared them off set up the crow deeks and about a dozen flocked pigeon shells they showed lots of interest in the feild but would not comit! i chopped and changed the set up but would not play ball, circling the feild. a few times then f ing off they did this every half hour or so but whatever i tried it failed misserably! the crows however came straight in and met there maker very shortly after thanks to 32g of no6 through 1/2 and 3/4 choke! not a huge bag but i enjoyed it all the same! atb i wonder if because there was such a large number of woodies there before and then only seeing 12 was outting them off!? edenman
I am interested in getting a fabarm waterfowl bulrush o/u for fowling. Im fed up chopping and changing between duck and goose loads with my semi auto, i want to go back to the simple 2 pipes no hassle. I believe alot of fabarms are proofed to 1630 bar, that will help with the homeloading. Im glad to hear positive stuff about them from owners.
