Well, silencer wise you could get a Webley prosystem, which has a mandril type fit, between 14.3 and 16mm or measure the barrel diameter, buy an adaptor from your barrel to 1/2"unf (on ebay) and get a screw on silencer. For tuning, try any one of the stockists (J Knibbs or Chambers etc, etc) for a tuning kit. Basically new spring with nylon spacers to ease cocking and increase power. See below:

Have a look on here www.airgunpellet.co.uk

They do a lot of Silencers. OX springs £11.00. Other box springs £13.00.

Piston weights and other tuning bits.

If your shooting rabbits out to 35 yds you need the gun up around 11 ftlb for clean kill head shots.

What`s it doing if you have had a chance to crono it yet.

Whatever you do-do not make any permanent alterations to the Mercury S-these guns are fast becoming collectors items and if you alter it you will devalue the thing. If its .177 and in good nick wrap it up in a rust protective sleeve and put it away somewhere safe.Buy another gun to mess aropund with :good:
