lou13
Hi! I am just wondering if any of you use steel shot in your cartridges for 20 bore as I can not seem to find any anywhere and may have to purchase a cheap 12 gauge semi auto. I don't mean light clay loads as it will be for game so I need a 30+ gram 1s, 2s or 3s. If you do please can you tell me the name of the cartridge! thanks, lou13
Albert 888
I picked some 24g 5's up from nwss. You may Struggle getting 30g of steel in a 20b cartridge. But I am no expert on the matter. Edited March 8, 2013 by Albert

Big Mat
Does is have to be steel? You could look at some of the other non toxics, ie heavyshot, bismuth, etc etc

hawkfanz
dont forget steel is lighter than lead,so you get more of it in 24gram load than you would with 24gram of lead therefore i dont think you will get such a volume of steel like 32gram in a 3 inch 20g case.i dont have any problem useing 24gram steel no,4 for ducks in my 20g.
