It should be about conservation not eradication. In low numbers they have no real destructive effect, and are arguably an important part of their local ecosystems. It's all about "Keeping the balance". + 1 , I will shoot them given the opportunity which is rare but I would hate to see them eradicated , they are after all one of our most beautiful birds.
