MBW
Have been looking for crow decoys but looking at prices for the sake of using them once or twice a year I was thinking of painting a pigeon decoy black, has anyone else done this and do they work with the crows? Or is that the daftest thing anyone's ever heard?
lksopener
No it's perfectly sensible! No problems at all doing that.
The Pest Expert
done the same thing mate, worked spot on but soon as i had a few crows down i just used them and like you say pointless spending a load if you only use them twice a year i threw mine on the fire today otherwise i would have said you could have them.. always the way! there was a topic a while back where he used bin bags and cothes hangers and uploaded the video of his day out and he shot a fair few! all the best.. russian sniper
Remember someone on here putting old black socks over his pigeon deeks and shooting crows!! It would be easy to change em back to pigeons too - just by removing the sock

Evolve82
I painted an ole pigeon deek matte black and it works no bother. My mate puts an old pair of tights over his deeks. Works a treat for him!

Cosd
An old pair of thick black tights over your pigeon decoys and you can slip them onto tour decoys whenever you need them. Cos
