MrPhantom
Yea - we were there today too. Very friendly and relaxed club. Blowing a gale today which made the later stands a bit more testing.

Blowing a gale today which made the later stands a bit more testing. It sure was windy as you say on stand 1 i think it was, with the mixture of birds and up on top the container. a very muddy car park too lol. ended up with a good score so pleased with the outcome

Or Kents Green or Mork? looking for something like treetops/coleys without the price tag......

SakoQuad
Chaps looking for a ground that is "women friendly" ie nice loos somewhere to sit and have a cup of tea is this a suitable ground? Or Kents Green or Mork? looking for something like treetops/coleys without the price tag...... The "club house" is a nice place to sit for a cuppa and a biscuit round a log burner. Toilets consist of a porta loo so not Coley standard but not too bad at all. As said very friendly owners and users. 10 stands that are altered every month so just as you get used to the set up Nick alters it to keep you on your toes.£30 per round of hundred or join loyalty scheme for £50pa and get free gun hire and £20 per round. It gets very busy from kick off at 10 till around 11.30 but rarely need to queue unless you just "have" to shoot stands 1 through 10 in strict order! The wind certainly made it "interesting" up there today some of the clays seemed to be ducking and diving. Edit; fibre wad only. screwie
For a women friendly shoot chess grove in the forest of Dean is a lovely relaxed shoot no where near coley's size but you want find a more friendly ground. Griffin-Lloyd is a great shoot in Knighton depending where is south Wales you are coming from, long ridge is a good ground to just of the m50
Therealchucknorris
It's a good place and there's a great one just a little way down the road (back towards Cirencester on the Fosse). Hollow Fosse run by Martin, it's £13 for 50 (or £11 if you're a member). Clubhouse is just a cabin but they have some hot food and drinks if required. Good mix of stands using the natural terrain and cover to conceal some of the birds to make them a bit more challenging. Relaxed atmosphere, child and women friendly and shoots every other Sunday (i.e. Sunday after next and so on).
