M2 vote here from me also , I couldn't be bothered stripping & cleaning my Maxus gas system out after every outing, M2 barrel takes 6 minutes to clean and its all done, leaving me valuable time to do other shooting things !

you need to try both and see which one is best for you , I couldn't get on with Beretta S\A personally but Benelli fits and shoots better possibly because of the different recoil pads available to lengthen the LOP

M2 vote here !

I love mine, so simple to strip and clean and maintain and cycles well, mounts very well and i could happily shoot alot or rounds through it in one sitting !

Berrettas are nice but cheap and nasty cartridges can gum up the insides like any gas semi, the inertia system keeps all the rubbish up the barrel and burnt :D

cheers for all the replies so far. The only thing i cant make my mind up on is the inertia or gas operated. The thing i like about the M2 is the ease of cleaning however i hear that the A300 has a upgraded gas valve which self cleans the piston and that?. is this true and does it work well?.

cheers

Would be good to shoot the two. Is that an option? No doubt the Beretta would be softer to shoot. I just like that idea of complete reliability and easy cleaning. No doubt this self clean system is better than most but dirty gas is still cycling through those parts and would need a scrub!

Do looks come into play to help you make up your mind?
