Cranfield Posted November 16, 2006 Report Share Posted November 16, 2006 Its customary to complain about poor customer service from Companies, but ocassionally something happens that restores your faith. I have an extendable tree lopper made by Spear and Jackson, which I bouight about 15 years ago. It has a bolt on saw that fits above the "lopper jaws". This saw is a bit flimsy and I snapped it on Sunday morning. I telephoned Spear and Jackson yesterday to ask if and where, I could buy a replacement saw (I had already looked on a few Retailers websites and not found it). The Customer Service Assistant asked for my name and address and said they would post me a replacement free of charge, I reminded her that the lopper was over 15 years old, but she said that didn't matter. Or for making you waste a days holiday waiting in for something to arrive in the morning after you contacted them to find out where things were.........
