HotShot!
Looking for some advice on a rifle stock for my remmington. Dont want to get the original one bedded because its a heap of **** I got it back from gunsmiths today after having a silence put on it and whilst I was there picked up some other bullets. Still cant get a good group. But its not me because on the .243 i can get them touching at 200 yards. Anyway what stock would you advice. ? cheers

iain
+1 for a boyds stock. Very easy to fit on your rifle. Got them on all mine a lot better than the floppy factory plastic stocks and in nearly any colour you want. £130 delivered then some devcon and a dremal. Job done. Rem223
The standard tupperware stock is pretty poor. I bought an HS precision stock for my 22-250 and I really like it. I have a Hogue with full length alloy bedding on another rifle, but this needed some fettling to fit the barrel.
HotShot!
Hmmm. Sounds like a toss up between the HS precision or the Boyd. However i may go with the Boyd because I like the wood on a rifle. Anyone else have suggestions ? Also do both of these stocks come bedded or do they need to be bedded.
