Davyo
Was thinking of making some kinda seat that would just fit over the spare wheel on the back of my 4x4. Possibly an old school type chair with the steel legs & plastic seat. Was thinking of adapting the legs & welding up some sort of frame that would just sit on or around the spare Tyre.Any body done anything similar?? mick miller
No, fortunately my legs are just short enough to reach the pedals from the regular position in the drivers seat.
HDAV
There are spare wheel mounting bike racks which may be suitable for adapting, rather you than me though.....

sonicdmb
Making a high seat that bolts to any ladder don't see why it wouldn't work for your job. only problem I see is what weight the wheel mount is designed for.
