harry69koi
I ran mine on home made biodiesel m8 so didn't care what mpg i got but avg would be 30mpg m8 They run fine on biodiesel, used to work out about 20p per litre when i did it
Bloke
I know it is not a Jeep as you want, but it may be worth considering the alternatives. I have leg problems as well, and I picked up an 06 Nissan X-Trail with the 2.0 Diesel engine and the 6-gear auto option. Seems bombproof, goes well, and have had up to 39mpg on a run to Southampton and back, plenty of extras as well. Twistedsanity
Shogun will wipe the floor with most things including jeeps and freelanders, different class of car all together and will still be going strong when the aforementioned are on the scrap heap

Anything can get bogged down you can have mud tyres diff locks body lifts but drive across a field and sink in to the unseen mud and even a tractor can and will get stuck in that. W.T.*. They sink when you drive on a pond has well and don`t float. You keep your eyes open and keep out of the mud baths. Simples.
