An Escort Affair

Hi Guys

I thought I'd share my Escort affair...

I recently had the use of a Hatsan Escort for a few days, I went into this short affair with eyes wide open, even with hearing all the jibes you get about the Escort I put any preconceptions to one side and let the gun speak for itself.

I quickly became comfortable with the gun, it fitted me well, was quick to shoulder and smooth to swing. The build quality was better than I had expected for a gun of this price bracket and it cycled well with no jams or the like to report.

So, after a few days I came to the conclusion that for the price its a bledy good gun, I'd have one tomorrow! I thoroughly enjoyed our short affair together and look forward to shooting it again later in the year.

I'm on my third hatsan, had a black synthetic 12g semi, 12g wood one like the one you borrowed and am now using a 20g black synthetic pump and can't fault any of them. I only let the first two go to fund other things but they've all been good guns.

Will you be turning your affair into a full on relationship now then?

The pumps are excellent too especially for the money but would be nice to have a supernova in the collection

i bought a brand new supernova in the autumn for start of fowling season..took it back 2 days later and gotta remi versa-max..love benelli's but that was a dreadfull gun worst av had!! chewing straight thru the brass on the shells and pump was a proper rattler

Great pics buddy..

Firstly i was very unsure of parting with my money for a cheap semi as i had heard alot of things about them ( not all good )

Anyway i gave into the urge to atleast try one! So i bought a 3" magnum 28" barrel with extended chokes model in wood.

OH MY GOD !!! from the second i pulled the trigger for the first time i fell in love with this gun,

it fitted correct straight out the box comes up and swings just fine.

Have shot best part of 500 plus carts though it not one jam to date, just keep them clean and well oiled is the key.

So for all those people who are unsure of a cheap semi-auto gun dont be scared of this one.

It aint pretty but it certainly does the job and does the job well !!!
