matt fieldcrafter-uk
Hi guys can you some how rig it so one controller works on multipal flappers ? Iv just bought my first flapper but I'm going to modify it with a home made bouncer I make myself . The plan would be one controller 3 flappers start and stop . All the best , matt
Beardo
i reckon that would scare off more than it would attract - ie it would look like the flock taking off at once because of danger
deny essex
On the other side of the coin place to wards the back of the pattern it could also look like birds landing, stopping the motion if birds look interested in decoying, we all know its different days different ways it might work. And in answer to your question yes you would have to use a relay of high enough current handling from one battery and the receiver wired out to each unit, but they will all operate and stop at the same time. Sequence being battery , receiver, battery load to relay, relay to units, correct wiring would be as indicated on the relay , you would not wire all the units direct through the receiver as doing so may overload the receiver and burn it out. I would be interested in your results if you do have them working as one unit of three and very interested in the battery life.
whitey10765666
I was running two by remote buy using two separate receivers on the same frequency that way i could put one at front and one at back, or both at the sides, when one of the recievers packed in i ran a wire from one flapper to the other still works less distance apart

sitsinhedges
Why not have a remote going to random timers for each so they don't work in exact unison?
HW682
Double check the load ratings, but if the remote is designed for a rotary I would suspect it will handle 3 flappers.
activeviii
12v remotes from china, something like deal extreme. just buy 3 on the same frequency. one remote will turn all 3 on and off. cost will be less than a fiver each. you will need to buy the box for them to sit in as you get the PCP and the remote key fob. I us one on a carbon fibre pole, above the standing crop when i have a small pop hole to decoy to. it is the only time i use a flapper mind. activeviii
thats a double outlet lol. you dont really want all your birds in one area flapping at the same time. if you use 2 or 3 flappers then you want them split in the pattern.
