Whitebridges
I've been fishing the Pakefield to Aldeburgh area at least once a week for that last couple of months. I've had codling every trip, with eleven on one occasion. Dunwich has fished well particularly when there has been a good surf running. I fished Kessingland this week which is just south of Pakefield and at last the crabs seemed to have disappeared which is great news. I'm expecting a fair smattering of larger fish to be caught in the next few weeks. A nice 16lb came out last weekend at Hopton in a SAMF match. It was caught on a size 4 hook on an already hooked whiting. The match was over two days and needless to say the bloke won it and walked back with £1700. Here's a picture. Wookie
I need to get back home and start hitting the water of Shingle Street and Aldeburgh then. Maybe even give Sizewell a try and see what turns up. The GF did say that she'd would like to come out for a spot of beachcasting. Maybe my luck with it will change this year.
