eddoakley
Had an absolute nightmare last week when I managed to destroy a stock and a scope in the same day!! Not good.So now that it looks like I might have sorted the stock my attention turns to the scope. I have a Lisenfeld illuminated scope which I think is top notch and worth trying to get repaired. It all works but I seem to have snapped the eyepiece end/eye bell. Its not completely detached and has pushed back into place but its certainly not right. So my question to you guys is who can you recommend to repair it?Prefer to hear from those with personal experience if possible. Also does anyone have any idea (I realise that its a shot in the dark) of cost? Thanks in advanceEdd
alendil
i don't think job like that is doable but if it is i will contact manufacturer and they will be able to supply whole new body and then replace all lenses or just get new one. seeker
Are Lisenfield still in business? I was told of a firm called Action Optics in Southampton .. and there is apparently another in the Birmingham area, I have used neither. Hows your gun /household / all risks policy? ?? Now theres a thought. Will look into that as to replace the scope would cost a fortune. Paul Burke is the guy in brum that I have been told about. Anyone have experience? steve_b_wales
I damaged a shotgun a few years ago, and claimed for repairs through my house contents (sports goods) insurance.
