Capital Bee
I've found wth pigeon, you need a head or neck shot to kill them. If you hit a wing or non-vital part they will still fly off, so I only take a head or neck shot now.
Guest canon
how about the heart? if they fly, will they die? i really love the sound of pellet penertrating the body very much. It is surprisingly amazed

OR use something with more lethality, a shotgun is prefered in europe, although rarely suitable for use in urban areas........ What are the gun laws like in thailand? Guest canon
it is very strict, even airgun isn't allowed killing animal is a sin of the 5 moral rules, but i don't care because my house was destroyed because of the pigeon
garden gun
Short range springer try pointed pellets - RWS superpoints work great in our Gamos. With a springer head shots can be an issue. Spine shot from the back brings pigeon and corvid down a treat.
Elby
I'm in phuket and haven't seen a pigeon or a thai that won't kill an animal to eat.

The Ghost
I would trap the pigeon, always stay safe...I know it does not offer you the sport you want but not many shooters here in the UK would shoot any of those birds above. A pigeon Trap is very effective and I am sure you would get a plan on here on making one or two.

NIGHT SEARCHER
Watch this weeks Fieldsports tv, it has a very informative shot placement piece Plus +1 Very interesting has was the one on rabbits. And the one on the best pellets and the most accurate. I was very surprised that verminpell was more accurate than accupell. There`s a link to Fieldsports TV at the bottom of PW main page. Thunderbird
"I really love the sound of pellet penertrating the body very much." Okay! I think we have to allow for some loss in translation and perhaps for now give the benefit of the doubt? I might choose to read, 'I love the satisfaction of a well-placed shot....' Just saying...
