mad1
Hi iv just seen the new fieldsports Britain and they were field testing the new 42g as opposed to 40g Lr subs .. What do you think? Would that not make the path a bit looped or would the 2g make little or no difference ?? They say they are suitable for fox ( in Australia ) ?? wymberley
Are they in the UK yet? Was hoping that we may see them back along when I was having trouble with the greasy Eleys. However, I tried the SKs and for me the accuracy is the best rimfire round I've ever shot so I can't see me changing. But I suppose if we are to get them here, A little dabble won't do any harm. steve_b_wales
I remember when Winchester sub's were 38grn, and they changed to 40grn. I saw no difference in accuracy, and none of the rabbits/squirrels complained!
Underdog
Gimmik! Sounds like they polished the old molds out cos' they that worn U.
Dekers
I don't know about these, but with subs SPEED is obviously a major factor. Perhaps they can get a fraction more grunt with these, but if they run the same speed as their 40g subs you would expect them to be a bit more loopy, unless they have found a way to improve the BC! wymberley
Gimmik! Sounds like they polished the old molds out cos' they that worn U. That's not as daft as it sounds. When having trouble with Eley, I discovered that they measured 0.226" which might explain their accuracy, but more importantly, their failure to extract/eject unfired rounds.
