dob
I am thinking about getting an ns200 night vision kit to use on rifle , anyone got one or used one. Don't want to spend a fortune on a night vision scope. Are they any good .
joe soapy
Wait, if you buy now, it will be months before the dark evenings.. By the autumn things might look different
stan68
I got one about six months ago and while it took me a little while to get use to it I wouldnt be without it now. I use mine with middle and top end zeiss scopes which is ok but I hear its better on cheaper glass though.
chrisjpainter
There are a few vids on youtube that are woth taking a look at... and actual hunting vid... It looks like a good rig for sure! I've got the baby rig - the NS50 - as I've only got an air rifle, but the NS200 looks like a great piece of kit for rim/centre fire out to 200m. The range is a little weather dependent, but that second vid shows pretty good quality in sleet/snow, so on clear nights, i reckons you could get beyond the 200m range happily enough. evo
if you want my opinion, build your own, for £200 max you could build one that could totally out perform the ns200 and when you consider the price of them it would save you a small fortune, the other thing is , the personal satisfaction you get from the build and shooting your first animal with it,,nothing better
Sean100uk
I agree build your own I sold my ns200 as I preferred my home made one
fox slayer
A shooting buddy of mine built his own using one of these watec902h camera's useing the nightvision forum.co.uk for a guide and i must say that the results a very good but no where near as good as the ne500 that i use ,I will be buying the new ne500LR in a few weeks which is even better from what i read on the bbs forum there are some videos on the tube under piedpiper361 but these are from the ne500 not the 500LR .
