FOXHUNTER1
Was out with Grasshopper last night for a spot of foxing. The night started well with me hand calling a cub on Jeffs shoot which he duly dropped. Then it was on to one of my perms where the foxes just wouldn't play the game at all Saw loads but never managed any shots . They either slinked off or sat in an unsafe position or just disappeared. But I suppose that is why I love foxing so much, its the challenge ...... I will be at them again very shortly though ............hopefully with a better result

grasshopper
Went back to where we got the cub on Sat and called another out..it came to the fence only 50yds away so no shot as she was up against the wire and as i was watching her a Badger wanders past on this side. Lost her for a while as the grass at the fence was long, then picked her up 100yds away...duly despatched. Then i had a ride across to where i shot 4 last week and picked up a set of eyes straight away.Parked behind a bale and squeaked but she was having none of it so a long shot was called for...171 paces. Both shot with the Archer NV. No pics as the 22 250 was a little unforgiving tonight
hawkeye
NV beats the lamp most times even if it is an archer NV
FOXHUNTER1
NV beats the lamp most times even if it is an archer NV Not necessarily. They both have their uses. Plenty of foxes are spotted with the NV and not shot just the same as the lamp. I average between 50 - 70 foxes a year with the lamp and dont think I would get any more than that if I had NV
