Hi,

I had these 2 tree rats yesterday afternoon. I had been after them all day but they kept avoiding me and we had just sat down to dinner at my grans house when she saw them run up the drive for the bird feeders. I took the hint and grabbed a handful of chips to eat on the way and my rifle and crept out of the back door. As I stuck my head round the corner I saw a tree rat sitting on the lawn under the tree with the bird feeders in. I very slowly went back inside and went to the kitchen window which overlooks the feeders. I slowly opened the windows and noticed 2 big squirrels chasing each other around in the tree and not paying much attention to me. I then rested my AAS410k .22 on the a china chicken that sits on the window ledge and looked through my scope. Tree rat no.1 was hanging upside down eating all the seed on one bird feeder and tree rat no.2 was sitting on the ground by the tree holding a nut in his paws and looking straight at me. I lined up tree rat no.1 and shot him in the neck. He clung on for a second then fell to the ground. By which point I had lined up tree rat no.2 who was still munching and looking straight at me. I aimed at him and the pellet entered up his nose and into his brain. Needless to say he demised rather quickly as well. :good: I then went back to my dinner smiling like the cheshire cat. 5 sausages and 2 more helpings of chips and peas later I went outside and had this photo taken. :(
