Dazza9t9
Hey all Well I had my very first day out yesterday shooting over wheat. I had my bettinsoli 12g o/u a a1 starter decoy kit and off I went to one of the few fields I have permission on. I have walked around this field several times over the past few weeks and identified a couple of flight lines. Set my hide up and the decoys, after an hour I had 2 pigeons come in but turn away. Not completely happy with the pattern I nipped out and changed it slightly. Within 30 mins, 2 shots and 1 pigeons in the bag. Due to time that was the lot for me. But what a morning. To say I enjoyed it was an understatement. More importantly I identified a stronger flight line to try next time out. On a seperate note, the wildlife I saw walking though my decoys was great, a hare, handful of rabbits, even a couple of red leg partridge Can't wait to get out again

the pigeon man
A good day is not always all about the shooting
Dazza9t9
Even if I hadn't fired a single shot I would have been happy. Like everyone says it was so nice being out side watching the world go by
