An hour with the HW100...

Pop down to a small local permission I have that has plenty of bunnies

A few shows but scarpered before I could get into position.

Then one popped out of a bush at about 45 yards. (Normal spot)

Aim and off goes the almost silent .22 air rifle.

Up jumps the rabbit and lands in the scrub area out of site. Thought nothing of it as a few have done this too me before but this one is different.

So I start to make my way over after putting another pellet in the chamber.

Get to within 15 yards of we're the rabbit should be and out it pops from the scrub and bounces off another 10 yards before looking back at me.

Quick mount of the HW100 T to the shoulder while standing and off goes another pellet, only to see the rabbits head go out of site and hear my pellet hit a tree.

Thinking I had missed again I walked over to see it lying there, out for the count.

Not only did I manage a head shot standing the pellet entered just in front of its ear and exited right next to its eye.

For me that's a nice result.

Just got to wait for it to go dark and ill pop back with the night vision

Cheers guys.

The HW100 is a fantastic gun and I get on with it well.

Went back with the NV but not much around and I could not get the laser to stay in the right place.

I did how ever when just about to leave after the first outing managed a woody. Headshot at about 35 yards.

So bunny burgers and pigeon kebabs on the BBQ this weekend.
