Paul223 Posted July 23, 2013 Author Report Share Posted July 23, 2013 Give me a day or two and we’ll have a full run down on the progression of the idea so far, I think it’s looking quite interesting. Really like the “gun porn” idea of taking the shine from the ladies with some top quality guns, can’t wait to see who will offer up their Holland & Holland / Purdy for the photo shoot!.............. And for what it’s worth, to ‘go with the flow’ and do a mass production fluffy cats type calendar because it would make more money for the charity would mean we could be in risk of loosing sight of the fun side of life. The same approach taken to the charity shoot would see me sat at home, not doing a few weeks practice clays, not buying shells, not travelling to the location, not giving away a day on our shoot, not buying raffle tickets or donating online and just handing over well in excess of 250 quid, nice for the charity, but where’s the fun? p.s I’m busy most evenings and not home until gone 9 with sorting out pens and stuff, I get to look in on the phone but it’s not ideal for posting from keep the ideas coming folks! norfolk dumpling Posted July 31, 2013 Report Share Posted July 31, 2013 Like the idea of something that gives shooting a positive note BUT there are enough people in the shooting world plus wives etc who would buy if it was a tastfully positioned lass plus soppy lab or cocker plus a nice box lock etc. maybe add in a brace or a Roebuck. The Field are promoting these each month. I personally would love a picture depicting all the things that make life worth living. norfolk dumpling Posted July 31, 2013 Report Share Posted July 31, 2013 And (not trying put pressure on) would it not be a good idea to get it done so that it covers much of the shooting yr ie to start sept or oct that way u are selling away from the peak season for these - personally I'm always a bit hacked off that I've got this yrs shoot/beating days inserted but those for jan14 I have to write on back for when new one arrives - good idea?
