FOXHUNTER1
Out this morning again with the larks and spied a buck and a doe together, not chasing or anything . From where I was stood 150 yards away I tried calling but to no avail .............buck just didn't want to know.... In fact they both proceeded to lay down in heavy cover... My only option was to walk straight up to their location and hope for the best ......as I advanced glassing all the time and unable to spot anything I was beginning to think that they had departed , when all of a sudden the buck stood up 40 yards from me staring straight at me. I proceeded to open my sticks , slide rifle from shoulder, mount rifle on sticks and take aim while he was still staring at me ........as only Roe can A neck shot dropped him on the spot Buck number 10 for the season so not too bad
