With our options limited a trip back to the marsh land along side the River Crouch

Paid off in the end, we have blanked 3 times this month with foxes seen in the day time by the farmer but nothing at night…

Something which was not so nice was being hit by a laser pen shone from way off in the distance. It caught me and young jack full in the face; I was glad I was not looking through the scope at the time!!

It looked like a 4th blank but for a set of eyes in the distance..

It took a lot of coaxing to get this fox to cross the field we could not shoot in over on to our ground.

Once the fox was on the move we reversed down the field and kept squeaking, he popped out came along the bottom of a bank but refused to budge after that.

I whispered how come I always the front on ones…young Jack is learning a bit too fast and replied just ######## whack it! Which made me and his Dad chuckle…

220 yds in the bib and off my rarely used bi-pod.
