tonyrapid177mk2
well after buying a new mamba scope the other week I thought it was time I got it onto my .22rf so I went out yesterday and zeroed it in..just after I had set it up it started to rain so I got in the hedges under a big tree to keep dry...that's when a pigeon landed 35yrds away on the muck heap (and that was the mambas account opened) this was closely followed by a half grown rabbit that came out the hedges about 40yrds away (fox bait)...I left the rabbit where it dropped as I could hear magpies somewhere behind me and I was hoping one of them would spot it and not be able to resist a pair of eyes to peck out.....but after 40 minutes nothing was happening and I was just about to call it a day when a magpie glided straight passed the front of the hedge I was in..it hopped around the rabbit a bit having a good look round for any movement then had a peck at the rabbit and another look round..but by this time I had got the mambas german sniper dot reticle on him and just as he had another peck at the rabbit the 40grain Winchester super X switched him off instantly...so not a bad start for the new scope....cheers
