Lincoln Jubilee Prestige Shotgun

As the game season is upon us I am looking for a reasonably priced O/U for the coming season. I have approximatley £1000-£1400 to spend and I have been looking at the Lincoln Jubilee Prestige. I really like the look of the sideplates and the colour case hardening.

 

Couple of questions... Does anyone here own one? How have they found them? Any issues?

 

Also does anyone know of a stockist where I can handle one in the South/West Yorkshire/North Notts area?

you're in the same position I was in a few months ago. I love case colored and sideplates. Those guns are typically expensive. To complicate things more, I wanted a 20 gauge. You can see my thought process played out in the link below, but in short I compromised on the sideplates (didn't get them) but instead got one of the sweetest handling guns I've ever shot. I've handled the Lincoln and it was near the top of the list for me, but there were none around locally, used, or in a 20 at the time.

For that money a nice Browning/Beretta would be a much better quality gun.

had Lincoln 20 for my sons 1st gun.v good gun,..,for that money though,and yes its boring but silver pigeon 20 is fantastic.

Nephew had one in 20 bore some years ago.Very nice, quality gun.Made in Italy.
