Terribly sad that two young lads have died, my thoughts are with them

But, does it strike anybody else as strange though that the python has allegedly strangled both lads, when constrictors kill by crushing the body (constriction) normally causing aspyxiation as you cannot expand your lungs. Said snake then doesn't hang around or attempt to consume it's 'prey'? A Google would also suggest that it would have chosen its victim, killed and then tried to consume, not to kill two victims.

I fear there is more to this story than meets the eye.

If they have not done the autopsy yet to find the cause of death, is it not a bit early for speculation.
