shakin stevens
Only person i knew who did sell them was John down in Devon, spoke to him Wednesday he is not selling them any more, he is going into rifle reloading now, so I'm in the same boat, he did say Bucks Run outdoor shop in the USA does sell them, I'm going for a 381 recipe with a multi metal wad now. motty
Never tried them, cant locate his website from the address is he still trading? He is still trading. He was supposed to be getting me a load of wads, along with some heavyweight 13 shot. He told me it was all on it's way over here, but when i spoke to him last week to see if it had arrived, he said he didn't put the order in! I'm not fond of being lied to. I'm going to try and get hold of bucks run to see if i can put an order in. Edited August 9, 2013 by motty
kent
Contacted a few retailers over there, so far nobody wants to send. The manufacturer will send direct but seems like a faff as wont take credit cards until your established with them only funds transfer which I don't like. If you decide to get more than you require for your own needs to offset carrige I might split if your interested?

roughshooter
Bucks run arte very hard to get hold of - may be worth sticking a wanted ad on the american forums. I think I have a bag of 12g 3 1/2" in the cellar (may be 3") - I use LBC wads for all my steel loads in 12g now as I find they fit nicely into the fiocchi cases and give excellent patterns out my guns. It may be worth giving Robert Griffin a call at Direct Shooting Supplies in Barnards Castle as he was bring some gear in from Bucks Run if I remember correctly. He has an ebay shop and also a website but google it and give him a call - very helpful chap Regards Graham

Interesting, I cannot get those TPS to pattern too good in the 10ga. I think the wad is maybe failing to open up quick enough with steel shot and steel powder? do you do anything to the TPS like extra slits? muncher
No , just as they are . I found the Sam wads didn't pattern as well
kent
Well just received 200 from Gaepreloading. Load testing this morn with 1 1/2 oz of number 2 steel and 45 grains of "steel" powder. By crikey they work good, allegedly this load is about 1500 fps but yet to put it on chrono. Near enough 100% at 30 yds in 30" from right barrel and very similar in left tube at 40 yds, you couldn't fly a snipe through those spreads! Next up a BBB load for those LR geese

kent
I've heard that home chronos aren't very accurate. Do you think that's correct? Certainly not, some cannot set them up but I can certainly say besides the silly ones that sit on the end of the muzzle of airguns they use the same technology and are of the type used in industry. If you look in the back of the RSI steel handbook there is a picture to back that claim up.
