Archie-fox
Evening chaps... As the season is almost upon us I found a couple of plastic boxes in the office today and thought I would make a couple of first aid boxes to carry one in the car and one on the shoots I go on with my terrier, any ideas on what to put in it? I was thinking a couple of bandages and tweezers and some type of sterile pads if he should get cut or something..any ideas? Rich
Hayden
Have a look at the pinned post about 3 up from this one. There's quite a comprehensive kit there. I've often thought I should have a first aid kit for the dog, but have never had one. Will get around to doing it before the season starts. jmj121
Saline pod things for washing out wounds, anti-histamine for stings and micropore tape is always useful. My Vet told me that anti-histamine does nothing for dogs.... when my cocker got a wasp sting and her face blew up like a balloon... !!
