Mr pigeon Posted August 18, 2013 Report Share Posted August 18, 2013 Hi people just wondered if anyone fancied beating on my little shoot? It's on the Hampshire/west Sussex border. Average between 15-40 bird days and its mini driven. We don't pay beaters but only shoot 6 days and if you attend 3 or more you get a day in return. Shoot days are Saturdays. Tea/coffee and lunch is provided. If you have never shot before dont worry as we mentor people that haven't on beaters day. Family atmosphere and dogs/kids welcome. Have you considered putting a little ad' in your local rag;maybe introduce a few people who otherwise wouldn't get the opportunity,or who know nothing of beating/shooting? Even those who don't fancy the idea soon change their minds once they've been.A bird or two now and then if they can be spared works a treat.Just a thought.
