Michaeli
Hi guys. I'm after a .22 FAC air rifle and I struggling to either get one in bugget that's a nice gun or in a local enough area. I have been looking at the BSA r10's and the Rapid 7's plus a few others. Now what I was thinking is finding a nice 12ft/lb one and converting it to FAC So what would the best gun to buy, if I was converting it to FAC and does anyone know the rough cost's Thanks Michael

Davyo
They come up every now and again, i just sold a mint BSA S10 for £200, they lose money as there is a limited audience for them. Nice to have & use but terrible to sell on.You are in a position to haggle mate so hold on,As far as the upgrading form sub12lbs goes its a bit of a gamble as if not done right can be more hassle than its worth & it will be even harder to shift than a factory FAC AIR,*** AND REMEMBER ONCE CONVERTED TO FAC IT CAN NOT BE PUT BACK TO SUB 12LB)

Footu
Alternate choice is a pretamper airarms tDr,they can be screwed up to 40 lbs I believe. I have one but keep it at 11.8, they are good for around 50 shots per fill before pressure drops off.
NIGHT SEARCHER
Have a look at the Hatsan AT 44-10W. Walnut stock. £265. new. I got one in sub 12 ftlb and was that impressed with it for the money. You get an air gauge. 2 x 10 shot mags. And Walther match barrel. So i phoned Edger Brothers to see what was the score with an FAC one. A new AT 44 Rifle with an fac strike valve and transfer port doing 28 to 30 ftlb. £320. What can i say both Rifles are outstanding for the money. I have Daystates. BSA R10. AA 410. 3x Loguns. But for a very accurate and reliable workhorse the Hatsan are very hard to beat. Have a look at the Hatsan BT65 its a bigger gun with a bigger air tube. More shots per fill.
