belly47
I visited a local gun shop on sunday and asked them if they can get a price on a cz 455 with the laminate thumbhole stoke and 16" barrel. they called me today and said they had been on to edgar brothers who told them they don't do the 455 in thumbhole, only the 452. when I told him that I can see it on their website he just said well they don't do it. confusingly this link http://shootingsports.edgarbrothers.com/pages/CZ-452-Thumbhole.aspx does indeed say 452 but on the actual web page it clearly shows it as a 455 can anyone shed some light for me please

steve_b_wales
The 452 does'nt come as standard with a thumbhole stock, only the 455. There's certainly a mix up somewhere. Hope you get one eventually.
belly47
I know there is a mix up but just goes to show you that sometimes gun shops have no idea what they are talking about...........

beanieboy
I purchased a new CZ452 HMR a few weeks back - tried the 455 with thumbhole stock and heavy barrel and absolutely hated the feel of it. Very top heavy and the stock is an acquired taste. Went with the standard 452 with 16" sporting barrel - a joy to handle. Never ceases to amaze me why folk insist on a heavy varmint barrel for the field.
r1steele
If your shooting 100+ rabbits in a session the heavy barrel doesn't heat up as quick so it maintains it's accuracy better.
