steveyg Posted August 22, 2013 Report Share Posted August 22, 2013 Had an invite form PW Member Pickerup to join him today,earlier in the week there were hundreds of pigeons on the rape stubble so things looked promising for a decent day. Pickerups shooting partner of 10+ years joined us in our search for a decent flight line,after visiting 3 perms we set up two hides. No huge numbers however a steady trickle all day meant we had some steady sport. We finished the day on 83,not a huge bag however some good banter and shooting . My 2nd biggest bag (19)...should of been closer to 30 Pickerup never ceases to amaze me,he can shoot..nailed at least three birds after I have given them both barrels (and missed)....he then apologies...top bloke Cracking days sport...I love pigeon shooting Cheers Pickerup..another lesson delivered in how to shoot..
