simon6ppc
hi guys, while ive been letting loose all over the north west my own shoot were we have our pheasants has turned black in the day with crows and quite a few pigeons as well as my mate the farmer has spread chicken poo all over around or close to our pheasant and partridge pens,i cant decoy them as its to much noise for the birds so i sorted with my mate to get on the round bales and shoot from the back of his farm over towards them so long as i don't rip the bales,i shot the first one then put it as a decoy and in just over an hour and a half i had 8 crows with my remy and i missed 2 ,it was windy as billy ho though and the shots were around 230 yard so to be honest i had a whale of a time,8 isn't a lot but with a rifle its good stuff, i didn't stay that long as i didn't want to disturb any birds but saying that they didn't even bother with the few shots i did, also iv'e been using soft point bullets for months now and they dont just expand like a v.max but i just got some today and ime now zeroed for tonights fox expedition around the same farm so see what happens later cheers simon...
