Charlieb
Hi I am looking for a new over and under for mainly clays but also for game days and rough shooting, I was wandering if anyone who owns a B725 could give a honest review ( pro's, cons and posible alternative guns thanks. B725
I have had my 725 G1 Hunter 28'' for a year now and love it,the recoil pad soaks up the 32g cartridges well and it is light to carry when game shooting, the DS chokes are all marked for lead and steel so you know exactly what to use.It is by far the best gun I have had
bostonmick
never used one but have friends who do they are happy with them and being browning albeit made in japan they should be a good gun for the money, but main thing is fit.i use beretta but have owned three brownings all fine guns just did not quite fit as well as beretta. figgy
Had hold of loads and shot a friends. The grade fives are nice but brownings don't fit me, keep trying the 725 as its low action profile gives it a more Beretta look and feel and I like the look of them for the price, Berettas fit me fine. Well made and if it fits you a good gun, not heard of any horror stories with them. Figgy Edited September 8, 2013 by figgy
b16jus
Superb gun for the money shoots really really well BUT my beretta 692 is a better gun if you can warrent the extra money. The mrs uses the 725 now mostly and again shoots well with it

retromlc
Poorpete has one a hunter,he shoots it very well(for a girl),took him a while to settle in,most people expext instant results in general, but he's really liking it now,he doesn't like the fore end -end shape though

poorpeet
Poor old Retromlc he gets confused when he has to think and type at the same time! I have a S1 Sporter not a Hunter. Lovely gun & fits me, which is by far the most important thing. It's far better to shoot, for me anyway, than the 682 Gold E I had and better balanced than the older Miroku/Brownings. I am not convinced that the DS chokes as supplied pattern well. I got some aftermarket ones & things improved (a lot!). Downsides? I've never liked the shape of the fore end, but that doesn't effect the way it shoots. I don't think the DS pattern well but others may disagree. At the end of the day though get a gun that fits you (or can be altered to fit you) rather than buying something that someone else thinks is great.
