Graham M
Don’t want to sound like a killjoy but I handled one of these a few weeks back and it was the clumsiest thing I have ever tried to get into my shoulder. It was so back-end heavy that it kept dropping out of the shoulder and I had to make a conscious effort to hold it there. Bloody awful! G.M. Spook
Brown will never go out of fashion because it's never been in fashion :o what are you thinking??? It looks awfull Although it might be a usefull tool in a hide !! good and short and better still no one would see you with it Or if your a bolt on goodies junkie...How many accessories points :(
il cacciatore
Its supposed to have a spongy trigger and supposed to loose the zero very easily due to a design fault where the scope rail moves. (though both these flaws can be fixed.) I too like the idea of it but 300 buck is far too much money for me just now. Its designed to operate on subs so no problems there. il cacciatore
Tell me more about the scope rail problems and how they are fixed... TBH I can't remmember now. I think Walther fixed the problem and was only on earlier models. I remmember that the barrel is threaded for a Walther silencer which is abit expensive. JohnGalway
Google G22 and get independent reviews, not when you're at work since yer not allowed any fun stuff there Only ever read one half good review, bad accuracy, feeding problems, fiddly... Asked two gun dealers about it. One had them in stock and was decidedly half hearted about trying to sell me one even though I was looking for a .22., he wouldn't commit to any answers about accuracy and he grumbled about it having so many internal parts, too many things to go wrong. My impression was he regretted getting them in. Second gun dealer laughed and said he'd never get them in, not cos of how they looked but because how the performed. One tested online (sorry don't have a link) had 1.5 inch group @ 50 yards. Now... I don't own one, sure people will draw conclusions about that but like you when I first saw it I wanted one. Now I'll not touch them (unless they get a major overhaul!). Just my two cents.
Lancs Lad
Cheers John.....had a bit of a blast around (at work ------again), found some sites that I can get on, but most of them just tend to concentrate on the "features" and general blurb that gets released by the manufacturer. Does say on one test that at 50mtrs .25inch groups were achieved...... Maybe Ill stick with a ruger.........looks like you can mod them in a number of ways............... Now...............wheres my AR15...............
il cacciatore
The feeding problems is with HV ammo cause they were designed to cycle on subs - the bolt is too light for HVs and jams...
