Winchester hollow point sub sonics do the trick!

Have used Eley Match before when I ran out of ammo and they did well but too expensive for all the time use, seemed to hit em hard though.

If I want a bit more of a bang Remington yellow jacket seem to work well in my gun, just have to remember to aim half an inch high as they seem to hit a bit lower.

I have also bought a nasty nose for cross cutting my rounds but it seems to make no difference at all to the amount of damage they do. I now only go for head shots, if I miss the bunnie gets away without suffering but if it hits home he's a gonner.

Zeroing my .223 at 90ish yards a fluffy tail hopped out to see what the noise was.....We both wished he hadn't :good: the mouldy bales I use as a back stop for zeroing were painted a nasty shade of bunnie. It was only just recognisable from a shot to the shoulder as he stood on his back legs. I know there is no such thing as over kill and dead is dead, so long as it's quick and clean with respect for your quarry but it was like calling in an air strike on a village to take out a sniper in a clock tower. :drinks:

  • 3 years later...

Late night insomniac boredom has set in, so I have dug this out of the archive, and thought it maybe worth refreshing it. :whistling:

I voted as follows,

Sub-sonics,

Had to vote other, but have not shot HV's yet. I am going to give yellow jackets a go soon.

And finally remington subsonics, because my gun like them
