fenboy
I normally shoot an auto , occasionally a O/U and about once or twice a year I get my old SxS 16 gauge out , despite hardly using it and it having two triggers I shoot just as well with it as I do with my other guns. Thunderbird
I usually go with my camo'd 3.5" chambered FAC Hatsan and my blue urban camo gear. Turns a few heads but them my money is as good as Lord Fauntleroys isn't it?
Dangerous Brian
I learned to shoot with a double trigger O/U Laurona. Never had a problem swapping from single to double trigger. The front trigger fires bottom barrel first then top if pulled again and the rear trigger vica versa. I have seen other guns where you have to use both triggers to fire both barrels. I know double trigger is relatively rare these days but which design is the more common? Looking at the above posts I would have to agree with use a gun that fits properly be it sbs or O/U. From experience a poorly fitting sbs can be a bit of a handfull.
Harnser
Any competent shooter will be able to shoot just about any gun .I change from semi auto ,to over and under ,to side by side with no bother what so ever . Shooting is all about state of mind ,its easy when you know how . Any guns in my cabinet get shot . Incidently all my shooting friends ,shoot all their guns . Harnser. matone
I enjoy using different guns. I'd say I shoot marginally better with an O/U but I prefer to use an old London boxlock SxS made in 1906. And I stuff it with paper cased cartridges which are not as "good" as plastic ones. Bet you kill as much as anyone else too ! Harnser. Exactly !
