Mungler
I've got a Steyr Scout Tactical Elite (no moderator) which is quite a short rifle - under 120 cms end to end. The rifle has extra high "tactical" mounts on it put on by the previous owner which you can peep through underneath and so as to still use the iron sights on the rifle - they're not my favourite mounts, I've never felt the need to peep through underneath and use the iron sights but they are solid, on the gun and working and so I can't be bothered to change them. The problem with the scope mounts is that they make the rifle super deep / wide /high and I can't find a slip that will fit. This shouldn't be an uncommon problem and so there must be a range / make of extra deep slips to take extra high scopes e.g. night vision. Any ideas? Mungler
It doesn't have to be flash but it has to be padded and look after the rifle and scope. It will be hung in its case off the rear head rests in mini bus and so it'll bounce about. Some of the slips are outrageous money for errmmm a slip.
