Rimfireboy
Been offered an AYA No2 s/l d/t ejector. 25" barrels choked cyl & 1/4. It's nice and tight and in good overall condition. I'm not sure what its worth though, so if anybody on here knows anything about them I'd appreciate their comments. Thanks in advance. Gunman
Dependent on age , any thing between £950 and £1800 . As for some reason shorter barrels are not popular so they do not sell as well the prices will be lower than that of a 28" . What price are you being asked
rtaylor
I have wanted one for years and having looked at a few on here and gun trader, they seem to be advertised around the £1000 mark. The cheapest I have seen was £650, it looked nice in the pictures but I didn't see the actual gun. As above depending on condition/age but I would have said £800-£1500. Tim Kelly
25" barrels and cylinder choke in one of them, I'd say that unless it was in particularly good condition with an unusually nice piece of wood it's going to be worth between £600-£1000 if you find the right buyer. Rimfireboy
Thanks for your replies fells. The asking price is £800. Looks like its probably a fair price then? Your comments are much appreciated.
Salmo9
Word of caution.. Make sure what's being offered is a No.2 and not a No.117. Happened to me some time ago but was duly sorted by the RFD. Would be wise to seek clarification from AYA. Did this myself via email and had a quick response. Price difference between models is circa £300 to £350. The European No.117 is not as well spec'd as the English No.2. ASI will explain this to you. Cheers- Salmo9. I agree - 25" barrels affects the price!
brent52
never heard of a AYA No 2 with 25 inch barrels, sure it's not an AYA 25.
Rimfireboy
never heard of a AYA No 2 with 25 inch barrels, sure it's not an AYA 25. I don't think its a 25 Brent, but I think it needs another close inspection. Told its 25" but I haven't actually measured it myself. Thanks for your input, much appreciated. ditchman
if it is a pukka no 2 it will have detatchable sidelocks and gold inleted into the cocking indicators..........i though a no 2 started at 26" if it is indeed a no 2 and in good condition then £800 is a reasonable price the pre 1970 models tend to be better .............. Rimfireboy
Had another look today and the barrels are 26" and not 25" as I was told before. Thanks for the advice fellas.
