roadkill
My lad has outgrown his stick and would like a new one, I told him we would find one and let it dry out and go from there, My question is what kind of branch will I need and do I just leave it in the shed For so many months? roadkill
Right then we have some sticks , We got a couple of large ones and a few smaller ones for him and my little girl. So do I just leave them in the shed to dry out now for a year? Some have slight bends in them when is the best time to straighten them, do I do it now or after they have dried out? welshwarrior
Dry them then straighten is what I've always done as they will bend a bit whilst drying.
johnphilip
Wrap them all together with string and hang them up in a shed leave them for about a year. You can buy seasoned ones of ebay if you need one in a hurry. Its just the bleeding post is dear.
